they were fishing for your information when they asked u to tell it to them . I have the same number blocked plus several other ones they have used void numbers on.
They call daily. I've never answered as the message that shows is V315135813003078!!! Which translates to 469-646-4178!
They call so often that now I pick up the phone and blow hard on my whistle. I've register with the
Do Not Call list but they still call.
A person from this number has been calling my home for the past two weeks. When I answer they ask for my daughter. My daughter is under age so I tell the caller that she is a child and they should speak with me. They immediately hang up. Today, while I was out my daughter answered the phone and a woman with a heavy accent called and asked for my daughter again, My daughter stupidly said this is her speaking, The caller then asked her for her birthday saying she needed to confirm it for their medical records and then hung up. About twenty minutes ago she calls again and I answered the phone. She again asks to speak with my daughter. I ask who is calling the woman says "a friend" I immediately tell her that she would need to talk to me and again she hung up. I am deeply concerned about these calls. These people now have my daughter's name and birthday. Can anyone help?
They have been calling for months now, same area code and prefix but the last four digits have been slightly off. I have blocked at least 5 numbers from this phishing scheme to get my personal information. The have posed as Google and Medicare, they have a Western Union order for me or a Payday loan. Seems they will stop at nothing to steal your identity! How many lives will have to be ruined before the government will protect us from these criminals looking to steal money in our names? If they are calling your landline please call your phone company and block all calls from the area code and prefix, there should be no cost to you to stop these criminals from harassing your family and attempting to steal your identity.
If you call your phone company with the time of day you received these calls they can see what number it came from. These are criminals trying to steal your identity to steal in your name. This is harassment to call targeting a minor. If the number is truly the one that is listed the phone company can block them for free or you can block them on your cell phone. The last four digits vary but the area code and prefix are always 469 646. If you do not expect to get a call from someone in that part of Texas I would have them block the prefix and area code. You can get most anyone's birthday from facebook, if not their life story and when they are away on vacation. It is likely medical or credit fraud that is trying to be committed. See if your state offers a block on credit checks for ID theft attempts or pay for LifeLock or something similar to prevent any type of billing / credit account to be opened in her name. Get a free credit report to see that it is clear and free if one exists.
Repeated calls asking for my elderly aunt and claiming to be the Medicare office. Even used her physician's name. I have started blowing a whistlebinto the phone every time they call. I called the number and got a recording saying the number is not in service.
