"Heather" at "Card Services". I love when these folks call, since I have a credit card at the ready just for them. Of course, it has completely bogus, made-up numbers... After I get a live person (Hey, how's the weather in Bangalor?), I have to go find the card (usually good for about a minute), then feed bogus numbers to Mr. Bangalor. When it comes time to read the actual number, I read it V E R Y S L O W L Y, then when it comes back invalid, read again S L O W L Y, but change one of the numbers. Repeat as long as possible, asking if they are having computer problems, if they are just not writing the number down correctly, etc. Bonus points if you get in a mention of the National Do-Not-Call Registry before they hang up. Be prepared for some profanity - I usually like to throw back something about their Sister and a goat - they seem REALLY sensitive about this type of thing... HAVE FUN!
