On Oct. 18, 2012 I received a call from this number very aggressive out the gate to hurry and make payment arrangements for the balance of an acct. for surgery services and was told they couldn't mail anything to me because they already had and I had not responded by the final deadline date earlier this month, October 2012, and the only thing I could do was pay. Got a "manager" and informed them I had not received any letter asking for payment for a surgical procedure from the University they quoted. At first I thought maybe there was something I had missed as I worked to slowly pay off all of the med. bills accrued by my husband before his passing in 2010. The "manager" said no, the surgery was under my name and soc. sec. # and happened in 2004 and I had made 68 payments and then stopped and they were "contracted" to recover the balance. Since I have not had a surgical procedure since 1999, I asked if they could mail me the particulars (original chg, what the procedure was, where proformed and by whom), they said no they had already mailed to me (they did not have my complete address), could they send me a registered letter of same to where I am staying right now? (I am living temp. with relatives in a different city) , No. I am getting very frustrated, have feeling if I offered to fork over the $700 plus their response would be yes. Told them mail me again at my address and I will have someone look for their letter and get back with them. I don't expect to get a letter.
