Ihave two dps friends and it is definately a scam. They have never given that they are aware of, nor do the promote the organization. A asked why they pass themselves off as troopers. I was told that is part of the scam. They are not allowed to do this.
most of you people are stupid you talk about helping your communty but dont realize that those you do give to give less to the funds than anyone else like the sheriff association gives 20% the dpsoa gives 20% and those orgs call you locally cancer sociaty only gives 5% so before you go and judge the tsta why dont you really take a look at the other organizations give to
what you are saying is completly false and i dont believe that you know anything your probably lying about being a police officer so there for i feel you should be reported for false identifying yourself as a police officer
just another pathetic person who still doesnt know whats going on first off your a sad pathetic loser with no life you probably dont even know what a charity is thats why you will probably end up in hell i will pray your soul and i hope in the futur you will learn not to attack charities
40% is tiny? it's 100% legitamate fundraiser. don't want to give, tell them politley "no" and most likely you'll be thanked for your time and then not called again for awhile. being rude, especially throughing an adult temper tantrum like many of you people do will only worsen your life, not the callers.
these people are professional fundraisers that work 9am-9pm, make an hourly wage, of like 7$-8$ and are exactly like you with bills and children and problems.
but of course, you really don't care about other people. so my point is falling on deaf ears.
nbc5i got their information from a rival fundraising firm. that's the equivalent of having mcdonalds having on the prime-time news a story about how burger king burgers are fraud burgers. would you believe that news story? or would you accept that nbc5i is biased and probably the very worst news agency in the state of texas?
