Did anyone call about a payday loan that they didn't apply for

Robo call - started when answering machine kicked in - ..." to receive your holiday cash, press 1 now .  To get on their do not call list, press 9."

Thanks to this website, I did not answer this phone call.  I've been pre-approved for a holiday payday loan.  Smells like a scam to me...

Same here, they left a voice mail. Have blocked the number.  (It came up not as a specific location but "United States", a dead give away for scammer)
