They call daily and have never left a message. It only rings twice before they hang up. I once called back and it was an automated answering machine, and it says something along the lines of this call may be monitored and also about it being an attempt to collect a debt ect. After that, I just hung up.
This number had called me daily for weeks!! I've answered it 3 times, and the same thing has happened each time. They say, "Thank you for answering! We're going to get you directed to someone right away!" Then it rings to a calling center, where for about a second I hear the noise from an answering center. Then it disconnects. When I don't answer, a message is not left. Not once. Today was the last time I plan to see that number calling me!! I finally decided something isn't right, and it's now a "blocker caller" for me. You should do the same!!
I've heard about callers using that opportunity to steal info from your phone, and that frightens me. I just hope that hasn't happened already.
