I received a text message from +1 (469) 795-1213 about a Craigslist posting. They tried to
send me a check with an amount greater than owed and have me pay their shipper. I declined
their offer being aware of scammers. They continue to text me now. Do not do business with this number
This person just texted me "(1/3)The price is good for $300, my work constraints is too much for now and can only pay through a check that will clear within 24hrs.I will be responsible for (2/3)the pick-up at your location, so that will not be a problem for you, Please Kindly respond to me via text message immediately and let me know if you are ok" ..: Craigslist posting r for convience . If a BUYER makes a purchase complicated please don't waste your time and energy on selling ur items. If they beat around the bush.. Offering other payment options like cashier checks, bank deposits.. Don't do it cause you don't know if they're actually using their own bank accounts or someone else's. If it's a fraudulent acct then bank has the right to cancel the transfer and force your bank to refund the transaction.
received amount 3 times the amount of an item on craigs list. Sent me a check and some info about using his shipper. The check was from a Lobster COmpany in New York. The check was sent from Florida and I guess he is actually in Texas
