Stephanie from II called to offer BCBS to me since I'm turning 65 soon. Told her we've been on Federal No Call List for YEARS, so her marketing call is ILLEGAL! Reporting them to TX Atty General & BBB. Companies MUST learn to follow the law!
didn't answer - Went to VM, indicating they were Integrity Insurance, representing Blue Cross, and asked that we call back (without describing why). For grins, I called THEM back (after blocking my outgoing number) and asked how I could determine if the initial call was for a meaningful purpose, or just marketing. They politely indicated it was just a call to see if we were shopping for supplemental insurance. I didn't get into the fact that we are on the Do Not Call list - wouldn't do any good anyway. But I'm now logging the call with the FCC at https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=39744.
Message: "Stephanie from Integrity Insurance representing Blue Cross/Blue Shield." Where's the "integrity" in pretending that you are calling on behalf of BC/BS when you are just calling to market yourselves?
