Also got call from 469-814-8037 along with 617-209-4273. someone is to call 980-939-0922 ....has to do with restraining order .....the name didn't come close to my name and everything was out of my state. All i can do now is turn into fcc. they need enough reports so they can do something about it.

People should not answer those calls. Should not answer any # you do not recognize. I always look them up on puter. On my cell....I don't have it set for answering just by opening. I can see who is calling and have to push a number before I can answer. Otherwise, you have verified your # and your name etc.

I received a voice mail from a man at this number calling himself a "special investigator", talking about a complaint filed and my requirement to appear. As a debt collector of several years myself, I know a crooked collector when I hear one. This one is trying to make me think I'm in legal trouble in order to produce a call back. He used my maiden name, and I have been married for years. This one messed with the wrong lady, as this type of message is illegal. What a moron to have left such a message recorded. I intend to file a complaint post haste.
got an emergency message from my dad - who lives ~1500 miles and 4 states away today - someone left a recorded message on his machine at home - asked for me by right name as i am currently married but have NO CLUE how they found my dad - this "andrea Burke" who also called herself a special investigator said i have affidavits etc etc etc, need to forward info to attorney and respond within 48hrs and that the "order to show cause contains a restraining order" -- my poor dad nearly had stroke!!!
and the worst thing is in my profession - just the notion that i have any kind of criminal thing going on is terms for severe public scrutiny and possible termination
WHAT CAN WE DO TO FILE A FORMAL COMPLAINT AGAINST THESE FOOLS!!
