Got a bright geen postcard in the mail saying to call this number, and it's a final notice of some sort of urgent delivery that's extremely important. Of course, this is the 2nd such final delivery postcard I received since last week, and they don't say who they are or what it is they are peddling.
Got a bright green postcard in mail saying to call this number.....heck no! If I call that number then they can legally sell my phone number and personal information to telemarketers coast to coast even though I am on the do not call list. Conveniently no return address on the postcard. Guess I will be making a trip to the Post Master's office to file a complaint.
I called out of curiosity: They are the delivery company for a dozen companies. You will get a $50 Amazon or $50 somewhere(?) gift card for letting them test the city's water quality at your house. Basically, they're trying to sell you a home water filter system, I'm sure.
Bright green card in the mail telling me they are "attempting package delivery" and that this is my "final notice"! (Amazing they can send a post card, but they can't deliver a supposed "package" to the same address!) Called the number and reached a company called "Impact Delivery". Phone tree eventually led to their voice mail as they are apparently closed on weekends. (If they are closed on weekends then I guess it can't be too important now can it?)
Will call them back on Monday and mess around with them and waste some of their time!
Suspect it is a marketing scheme of some type. Will update when I find out next week!
Called them back this morning and 1) there is no "package" waiting to be delivered other than a water treatment "package" test they want to do to use to try and help sell you on a water treatment system that you probably do not need. 2). The bright green, yellow and pink mailed cards are the latest marketing scam where they don't cold call but have you call them. This is the way they get around the do not call lists. 3). Borderline fraud in my opinion.
