Who called from 4698289971

I received a call from this number from Agent Morrison UPS advising he had a check for $250,000 and a New Mercedes automobile that UPS would deliver to my home.  First it required I purchase a Money Pak voucher in the amount of $495 then call him at this number and they would deliver the $250,000 check and automobile before the end of the day.He stated the check was from Publishers Clearing House, (PCH new nothing of this. and UPS new nothing of this.  I am assuming this is a scam.  The address he gave was 3840 Antigua Drive, Dallas TX 75244.

Asked if he could speak to my wife. I said no. I asked who was calling. He said "Jeremy from UPS". He needed to speak to my wife before he could deliver something. I told him to deliver it. She'd be there. Then I hung up.

Scam for sure.

My elderly mother received a call today from a man saying his name was Ben Francis, however he had a heavy indian accent.  He informed her that she won 250k and a new mercedes benz that they wanted to deliver today.  All she needed to do was go get a money pack in the amount of 499.00 to cover the taxes.  He said that he was from Publishers Clearing House and UPS does the delivery.   He also mentioned the attorney generals from both New York and Connecticut, which is where we live to try to substantiate what he was saying.  He called my mom in the morning and she called me right away to see what it was all about and then he called her 5 more times to schedule delivery.  It's a scam.  Don't give these people a nickel!!!

This is just the latest number. I have received hundreds of calls from various numbers over the last few months all telling me they are from the prize verification company and I have won a major amount of money. usually they claim it's several million dollars, all I have to do is send them several thousand dollars for processing.... yea right.
