i got the same call a bit ago, was sure it was a scam, glad i hung up, they called twice, wish i hadnt answered it, added them to my block call list...thanks for the post and the heads up
I also received a call just now from this number stating IRS is going to file a lawsuit against me! It doesn't even mention my name or any other details. Thanks to everyone else on here for the heads up that this scam! Hopefully these crooks that are calling get a lawsuit against them for these fraudulent calls!
Same thing happened to me. Do NOT call them back. It will be a waste of your time. When I told them I was going to call the real phone number that I have for the IRS to confirm they hung up on me. Then I called back to tell them to take my phone number off their list they hung up on me again.
