They say it's a call to lower interest rates and this is the last call, however, they do not provide the name of the institution/company, and if you call the number back they still won't provide their name. They do nicely tell you that you can contact the "governing agencies" to report them....but how could you report them when you have no idea who you are reporting. A scam designed to get you on the phone with a live "representative" and provide your financial details.
Called my cell this afternoon while I was at work, left no message. Like many others who post here, I never answer if I don't recognize the caller's number.
Greetings everybody & welcome to the new spoofed number these idiots are using now! WOW it's just a matter of hours old today for this newly spoofed number now. Just received this call "469 904-6863 CNSMER ADVOCATE" at 1:05PM today on Monday 10-12-2015. This number did not come through to hear it ring. I seen it appear from the call history list.
Looks like:
"269-224-9029 BNK CARD RELIEF" & "302 724-6955 PEOPLES ASSIT" & "715 304-0287 CONSUMER ASSIST" & "972 597-2755 CONSUMER ASSIST" & "214 974-9635 CONSUMER SERVICES" & "267 233-6724 CONSUMER ASST" and just this last one--> "234 233-0305 CONSMR ADVOCATE" from 10-1-2015 to 10-9-2015 they abandoned or put to rest are not going to well for them STUPID SCAMMERS the past few months.
Each one of these spoofed number their using appears to range between just a matter of days on up to 3 or 4 weeks now days. Before it was up to 9 to 12 weeks for each spoofed number.
The idiot scammer never seem to go back to use a previously spoofed number. They change the spelling just a little bit of the caller name. During or in between these spoofed number they using
there doesn't seem to be any "competitors" or are any others that are using the same scam. So obviously it has the be the same exact scammer "person or persons" involved in this, as well as other scams coming from different idiots as well. Its also obvious that this idiot scammer is using the same list of people to call over and over again during this period of this newly spoofed number.
It seems that once this idiot keeps calling the same number constantly multiple times on different days this idiot know that their wearing out their spoofed number by more & more people their calling are blocking the number which gives them less & less established connections too.
Since these idiot scammers "this particular one" doesn't seem to go away after they call like many that do when they fail. Perhaps that their getting credit by established phone connections to get paid for just making a call when answered by human or recording. or for making their quota of calls.
