Voice activated recording. The amazing part is that it was interactive. Computer's name is, "Amy" selling auto insurance. I asked who was calling and a recorded response replied, "The National Institute of Auto Safety". I asked if it was a real person and another recording in a different tone said "Yes, Why do you ask?". I said that the response sounded well rehearsed and another recording (in another tone) interrupted me and said. "It's been nice talking with you, Good-Bye".
The timing of responses was a little off, but it was somewhat convincing. I bet in less than 20 years, the job of telemarketer will be replaced by automated computers with lightning fast response time. IBM Watson - Jeopardy.
Again, another random call from some place where I have never been. Called back thinking I would get to speak to someone who could take me off their calling list, but instead was instantly put on hold. Why is this not illegal? I feel like Im being harassed.
Just got a call from this number, only answered because my son is working out of state. Voice activated spam call about car insurance. I hung up and added them to my Call Blocker.
