I just got a call from someone who was CLEARLY in a telemarketing room, or speaking via a very bad VOIP connection who claimed that he was "Frank [something] a Special Agent with the D-E-A." He didn't even sound convinced himself. First off--no DEA officer or "agent" is going to refer to themselves as in that way--they introduce themselves with their title as part of their name, like Dr. so-and-so, etc. I just said, "yeah, right," and disconnected the call. Seriously, do the scams just NEVER end. Will people never just get honest jobs rather than trying to scam others? This is so frustrating. In "CALL TYPE" below, there needs to be a category for SCUMBAG

They just called me too!!! DEA, give us a call, very important, you are in trouble, blah, blah, blah... I hope it's not the DEA. Has anyone ever talked to these people???
I received a call this afternoon from the same number, 470-208-7292. It was a "Special Agent" Frank Lopez, of the DEA stating that I was part of a criminal investigation and to call 877-277-3057 ext 1430. I didn't call back of course since no DEA agent is going to call, they would just show up. However, a lot of people do call back and do send money to get out of this so called investigation.
