Scams on people looking to rent/own homes. Takes someone else's existing info and duplicates it. Usually the price is lower or similar. I looked up on the county records of who owns the house and it is not this man.
When contacted he says he wants payment immediately. Wire transfer is what he told me.

This number tries to act as the owner of rental properties and asks for payment up front and will ship the keys and rental agreement in the mail. It is clearly a scam from the beginning.
A sure sign of summer is vacation rental scams. Rule # 1 of a rental scam: NEVER use a wire transfer (MoneyPak, GreenDot, Western Union, etc.) for a business transaction. These services are NEVER to be used when you do not personally know the receiver of the money. They are for family & friends only. Real ones, not the internet ones. Remember, you are sending cash. CASH! Untraceable cash that can be picked up anywhere in the world. Nigeria, for example.
