Got a call from this number the other day. They say I owe $1000 to a bank and theyre charging me for check fraud against a financial institution. I called the bank and they say they know nothing about it and that I dont owe them anything.
They are complete scammers, making up that you owe for a payday loan that you did not take. They prey on people who took payday loans in the past, hoping you'll think you forgot one and that you owe them. When you press them for info., like when the loan was taken, ask them to send you paperwork, tell them you don't believe them, they get angry and aggressive. Don't fall for this!
Got a call from this same number and went to voicemail. Went to listen and it was just a bunch of garbled sounds. Probably just choked on their own lies!!
