I answered the call and man said calling from the veterans administrations office seeking donations!!!!
This is just so sad,
I hung up and next time someone calls from this number I will have my whistle ready!!!
my grandfather fought in WW1 my dad served in the Navy, my brother served in Vietnam, my husband served in the Navy, nephew served in the Coast Guard....also so many relatives served in the armed forces over the years in wars and conflicts.
So very upsetting!!!

Rec'd call at 8:38 pm on 7/23/16. After I said 'Hello' 3 times it sounded like a recording started and said, 'Hello, my name is ....?.......Collins from the Veterans Administration'. I hung up because I did not think the area code was really from Bridgeport, Ct, like my caller ID showed.
This call is from a computer pretending to be a real person.
Also I have so received 3 calls from this number and they identified themselves as been from 3 different companies/foundations all with the word Veteran in it.
