received a dodgy looking request by e-mail about renting a property I own with this number provided as contact information.

Did you rent to them? I have the same type of situation, going on right now? Some reason thinks its a scam???

I received an email request on my vacation rental property which seemed suspicious. The person seemed semi-literate with many grammatical errors which made me highly suspicious .  I asked for a telephone number and they gave me this one.
