Fake IRS scam, repeatedly calls, they are scammers trying to get money. They didnt even have my real name. They got an alias from a fake database that tipped me off.
Received call and VM stating that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. The IRS does not operate like this. You would be contacted via the mail several times. And at the point of a lawsuit being filed, you would be served papers by a process server.
This is not the first time I have received this call where an automated voice states that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. The first time I was surprised (but knowing we are all up to date on taxes) I called my husband who confirmed it was not legitimate.
