No caller ID and no message

Caller ID stated company was SSI. Caller asked for my spouse; I advised unavailable. Caller, Michael Garcia, said "thank you for your time, have a good day" and disconnected

SSI is how they identify myself. Called looking for my son. Social Security doesn't call people. These people will say that they are with the social security admin. When I called social security to report them I was told that there is no way to file a complaint against them.

SSI-pos scammers

SSI is Survey Sampling International.  It's some kind of opinion survey - data collection.  

It is not the Supplemental Security Income agency (social security) of the federal government.

They're looking for a live person to be questioned on the phone, and they won't leave a message.
