Just receive a call from them. Didn't answer it. They left message for me to call. I called and there was an Indian accented woman answer, I ask why would anyone receive a call from them and she hung up on me.
Just got a call from a scammer Mrs. or Niki Johnson...very hard to understand and she talked soooo slow. IRS wouldn't have anyone who talks that slow working for them. I got the same scam message about the IRS taking legal action and we needed to call back right away. Said her "hot line" is 478-787-0567...same number with the last digit being different. IRS agents don't give first names. They say they are Mr. or Ms. and their extensions are not another phone number. Said we needed to call back right away before they take legal action against us. We don't owe IRS anything. We are on social security and our income is low enough we are not required to send in a tax return. Boy do these scammers have the wrong number!
