I get at least two call a day from this 478-845-0705 number. They never leave a message. I answered it a couple of times and they would not discuss the private matter of the call to me. They wanted me to give my husband the message that they called and I told them no!
This is Commonwealth Financial Systems, a debt collector. Here are some reviews on them as well as links to the FTCs advice on the laws regarding debt collection and dealing with debt collectors:

I received a call from them on my landline. They asked for me by my middle name (which I don't use) but listed my phone in that name as a way to discourage unwanted calls. They asked me if I could verify my date of birth. I refused. They said they could not continue and would send another letter. I never received the first letter. I told her I could assure her that I did not owe any one any money. She would not discuss the personal matter. She wished me a happy thanksgiving and hung up.
Calling repeatedly to my home phone. I have never given the home number to anyone, ever; it's only for emergencies. They are trying to collect a debt from someone who undoubtedly used to have this phone number and they won't quit calling, even when I tell them that there is no one here by that name. They are really crossing a line here. I'm documenting all the calls and conversations and I will be happy to litigate. I need a new hobby anyway. I hope their lawyer doesn't have plans for the spring.
