Someone called me collect from this number claiming to be my niece. She has been going through a tough time lately so I accepted the call. Then it asked for my credit card number and all of the information related to it: expiration date, security code, & zip. After entering the information asked for, no one was there, so I tried to call the number back & it said it was a number no longer in service. Is this a form of identy theft? I am very concerned!
I just received a call from this # 478-951-7626..it was a collect call asking if I would accept the charges. The caller said "I need your help". I do NOT know this # caller id said Georgia. I said no would not accept the charges..seconds later they called back(same #)..I still would not accept the charges. Then 1 minute later got a call from 888-447-1710...same person, same collect call!!
