The call was an offer to receive a free sample of a pain relieving cream. " Jeff" speaking from a telecom co in Utah, tells me that if my insurance company approved of the cream( why would they care if it's a free sample?) my call would then be routed to a doctor on the phone from Florida who, though he may or may not be licensed to prescribe in my home state, would approve me--based on symptoms and my answers to questions-- to receive my free medication samples.
This offer is illegal and scammy on so many levels. . . Where do I start? Well, first I'll report them to donotcall.gov, and then move on to state consumer protection and fed FDA.
