You can tell right off the bat that this is a spam phone #, no local prefix begins with a 1. These scammers are really getting imaginative. I live in the 480 area code. What they are doing is setting their spam #'s to coincide with the local area codes. We are all skeptical about out of area phone calls but when you see your own area code you are more likely to answer.
Missed call from them on a Friday. They called again the following Monday, yet for some reason did not respond after I said hello, and hung up within 9 seconds without so much as speaking. I am also confused as to why they waited until the next weekday to call.
