I have received calls from this number several times, including just five minutes ago. When I answer they identify themselves as EMT Medical and they need my medical information. They are not my medical insurance carriers who already have all my information. They are not a provider or someone who had treated me in an emergency. When asked why they need the information, a cogent reply is not received. I classify it as some sort of scam.
Have received NUMEROUS calls throughout the day from this number. Caller ID says EMT Medical. They always ask for me. Only once did an actual person talk to me. Said they needed to "update my medical information" to send me a membership card! Told them I was not interested and have TRIED to request several times that they remove me from their calling list. They just hang up. I have reported this company to the FCC and will continue to report until the calls stop. I believe this is a scam specifically targeted toward the elderly.
I am tired of these people calling my father. I have done everything from being rude to short of cursing them out and they keep calling. What can I do to stop these people from calling.
They call several times a day for over a week - when I explained I did not need or want their service, was told that "apparently you don't care if you die!" I asked them not to call my place of business again - we'll see - thank goodness for caller ID because I will not answer it again!
