These are people pretend to be from Cox Communications. There are scammers. Get their name and ask for their work ID number. Ask them for their phone number at Cox and call them back at the number if they give you 623-594-1000. If not, ask them for their supervisor's name and contact information. Grill them. Ask them if they are aware of the federal laws that will hunt their butt down and send a scud missle to their address. All that I've spoken to do not appear to be from the USA. They have foreign accents though that too might be faked.
The caller claims to be from Cox Communications and said that my account is going to be deactivated because of someone else moving into my house. Thing is, I'm not moving. I called Cox and they had no idea what I was talking about. I've been called 4 times by this call center, and when I confront the operator or ask for additional information, they can't provide any. I think this is a scam.
