I received a call from this number and did not answer. I blocked my number and called back and received a message that said "The Magic Jack customer you have called is unavailable, please leave a message after the tone"
It's a scam. I got a called twice. They said they were cox communications and that they received a change of service notice. They were verifying if this was correct. I called cox and they said my account hasn't been accessed in months. I called the number back and it was a magic jack number.
I talked to the person who called. She started to say my name,my account and my addy. Just an fyi...I blocked this number and a similar number. It is the same lady saying she is from cox and that my husband called her about a promotional deal with cox. I said, "no you are not" I said, "nope not us" She kept calling back. Anyway these (2) two numbers are the same slimes (480) 243-7278 and (480) 243-7468.
I recieved a call this number and it was actually Cox. I know this because I didn't give them any personal information but did ask they note something on my account. After the call I googled the number and this site came up so I called Cox's 800 number and asked if the note was on my account and it was so it really was a Cox employee calling me. w
