Received a letter in the mail in an envelope without a return address, informing me that I qualify for 2 round trip airline tickets valued at $1400.00. They want me to call them to claim my prize.

Smells phishy to me.

Just got a voucher in the mail saying this is the last chance to claim a rebate for $5800. Want me to call to claim this, but there is no bank, no address on check or on envelope. I took something similar to my bank and they had a file from this type of company, thick with similar letters. They want your bank account info.

I also received a 'last chance to respond notification voucher' for $5,897.67 with a check attached for a Government Rebate/Energy Rebate Program. The check needs to be endorsed by both myself and National Rebate Center and I'm to call 480-281-0119 for more information on how to get my rebate. Sounds fishy (or should I say Phishy).

Just as Ltrg8r above, mine has a check for exactly $5897.67 made out to me and National Rebate Center.  Definitely seems too good to be true to purchase something like a new air conditioner.

I also received a check from the National Rebate Center for exactly $5,897.67 as part of an "Energy Rebate
Program". They said they tried contacting me several times and this is my last chance to use it. The phone # they want me to call for more information is 808-206-7739. Don't know if I'll bother calling.
