There are 7 pages of these complaints dating back to Aug. 2011. Many of us are on the national do not call registry. What is actually being done about this number? I suspect, NOTHING. Harassment continues.
Was told that I won a family vacation for 4 to Orlando Florida. Announced that a friend or family member had entered me into a vacation raffle. Called and talked to a "customer service rep". Asked to be taken off of their list. The response was that for a $45 charge to my cell phone they would quit calling. Called back again to get company information. Said that they were representing Specialty Travel of Orlando Florida.. Total bunch of BS.. Was told very rudely not to call back unless I was calling to order a package....
I am on Do not call list,too..and I've been getting over 20 telemarketing calls for the past 2 months, I had more, but I deleted them already, now I am writing them down. I'm getting calls from area codes: 803, 802, 406, 701, 281,978, 603, 316, 575, 503,480, 561, 407 & 408, yap..from all over the place. I even reported to the Do not call list, almost want to change my cell phone numbers, really a pain in the XXXX.
"Free" trip to Orlando - pressed 1 to speak with someone, got nothing, called back, got nothing. Their new recorded spiel assures that "you or someone you know" entered your number at a kiosk somewhere. Yada yada yada.
