Carry the loan for one year. Make every payment on time. Call them back and tell them you want to renegotiate the term/rate or go to another lender. I know FMCC (Ford) will pick up these kind of loans, or at least they used to.
Americredit also is charging me 16.75 interest on a new car loan. Loan amount is 22,000 dollars I am paying 500 a month for 60 months. this interest rate will be causing me to go into default.
