I am getting the same calls from the same # and people! They are threatening me with the same info as prev stated above and keep leaving voicemail messages on my cell phone telling me they are going to download my file with criminal charges. ??? What scares me is they have my personal info such as ss#, address, and an old bank acct # which has been closed for a few years now. I don't know what to do or who to go to, but I want them to stop calling me. ANY ADVISE FOR ME???
I have been getting the same call and they said some very nasty things and would not tell me where they were calling from just that I would be arrested for fraud?????? What the??????
Would not state who they/he was/were- just very loud, harrassing, fowl language, used 4 diffeent names of Frank, Peter, Roger and Patrick, all foreign speaking, very nasty, would not say what company he was from just that I would be arrested if I did not pay him. Would not send anything by mail, which I told him I wanted for legal purposes and for my attorney. Called me a [***] and hung-up on me. That is when started to investigate where they were calling from and such. In the a.m. when you call the number is not a good extension. Very scary!!!!
Received the same call from a foreign sounding voice said to call back or my attorney said that it would fall on me if I did not respond contacted the number but it stated it was not a valid extension.
John Watson and James Maxwell (who both sound Pakistani or Indian) of this number have called me at work several times. Threatening messages about an unpaid internet loan from 2004. Claim to work for the Financial Claim Division of US National Bank. The number they give me to call back is not answerable ("not a valid extension.")I have asked for written documentation of this loan, which they will not provide. I have told them not to call me at work, but they continue to do so. Sound like scam artists in a boiler-room.
