Female caller from Paradigm Direct was asking to speak with our business owner about our merchant services account. I said I handle the merchant services and that we did not have our account with Paradigm.
She told me to "picture a pyramid" and that Paradigm was at the top. She said they handle ALL merchant services accounts and that since our business is doing so well right now, we were eligible for an upgrade/better rates. (Obvious lie, as our business is struggling in the current state of the economy). She wanted to confirm an appointment for Jackson to come out and meet with us. I said we wouldn't be interested. She tried to argue with me and eventually hung up on me.
Well what can I say other than PLEASE ANYONE CONSIDERING GOING WITH PARADIGM....DO NOT DO IT!!!!! I did do it, and let me tell you how unhappy I am. Let's see where to begin; first I think it is important to say that I was getting the best rates I have been able to get in 8 years of doing business prior to these crooks walking in the door. They said I would have a minimum savings of 1% or 150 dollars a month. lies!!!!!!!! Run!!!!!!!! Do not fall for this please. Save your hard earned money. My rates have gone up by as much as 2.5% and on an average I am spending about 400 more bucks a month. doing the math the other day I figured I would save money by switching back to my other processor and get dinged with Paradigm's minimum fee and of course the great lease scam fee, so I did I switched back. I will still have to pa the stupid $79.00 Lease for a machine I don't use never even took it out of the box and the $30 or $40 they will charge me for not processing the minimum amount, but that is still less than actually doing business with them. So there you have it, I listened to these crooks signed up with them and am not happy. Why would YOU ever do business with someone once you know this information......?
