a call blocker and do NOT pick up on numbers you do not recognize.
Yep. Sure looks like a fresh number has been broken out of the spoof cupboard by some phone scammers. If it's important enough for you to call me, you leave a message, and I can call you back and say "yes" to your proposition. (Good luck with that.) You don't leave a message, and your number gets blocked. These folks didn't leave a message. Oh well. The thing I like best about the call block list is that you can just keep adding numbers to it. Yeah, it only holds 250... but old numbers fall off the bottom and new numbers get added to the top. And the oldest numbers are four years old now... so 250 blocked numbers go a long, long way. Gotta love them Panasonic phones...
