Received a "live" call. First a male voice wanted to talk abut my Visa and MasterCard merchant service account, I asked him which one. He became flustered and his "supervisor" came on the line. She stared to pitch me about how changes in the credit card banking laws permits me to do direct transactions without fees, thus bypassing the merchant services middleman. "Because you have such a good record on you merchant service transactions" I am qualified to participate in this new program. I asked her which merchant services provider had provided that information. She asked me who the servicer is, and I said I will not give out that information and I also said her information may or may not be correct. I said until she has correct information I did not want to talk to her now or later. She was reluctant to hang up, but finally said I should expect more calls from the company and then she hung up. The fact is I do not have a merchant service provider so I cannot have any record, let alone a "good" record. Therefore, as anybody who reads this already knows the call is scam. This company, under four different phone numbers repeatedly calls, although this is the first time there was a person on the other end. One of the company's caller IDs is "Merchant Services."
Alyssia called from Entrust. Nothing but a scam for merchant services. She stated our company has a current account with them, when I told her we didn't, she hung up.
They are crooks. They are aggressive, untrue and arrogant. I asked them if they were my current provider, they would not simply say "no" and play with words. When I wanted to hang up, they said words like " you qualify for this race, this is a privileged, you must work with us." It seems that anybody who listens to them is privileged to get scammed.
