Justr received a message from the same person. I returned the call and received a voice message from Jared Toms, however no title, etc. I will be calling the local police and Wellsfargo to report the incident.
got a call yesterday from 480-337-2978 male ID'd as JARED TOMS, claimed he was a wells fargo associate from 301 West Warner Suite 124, tempe AZ. Began pumping me for information such as current residence and mailing address, and other personal info. Said he was from Wells Fargo mortgage and began spouting off useless but personal and accurate mortgage info of mine. Then said he wanted to sign me up for a Visa card and wouldn't take no for an answer. I gave him nothing and pushed him pretty hard. He was being coached by someone in the background who made my heart sink when they said my entire SSN. They knew it and had it right, scary. They didn't have my DOB or correct address. I reported it to IC3.gov, local police, and put an alert on my SSN through Trans Union. Kinda scary.
Received call from Jared Toms, says he was with Wells Fargo and calling about a credit card offer. Ended call quickly and called Wells Fargo fraud reporting. They took his name and number and said he is legitimate.

Late one evening in mid-December 2013, I received a phone call on my cell phone, which I did not pick up. The caller left a message on my voicemail, identifying himself as Jared Toms from Wells Fargo, and asked me to call him back at 480-337-2978. Concerned that something very bad must have happened to one of my Wells Fargo accounts for a WF representative to call so late at night, I quickly called the number back; however, no one picked up. The phone number, 480-337-2978, did have a voicemail, which stated that I had reached the voicemail of Jared Toms from Wells Fargo and to please leave a message.
I left a message stating my name and requested a call back to explain the purpose of his initial call. I did not receive a call back that night or since then. I became suspicious that a Wells Fargo representative would call so late in the evening and not state from which department he worked in. I googled the Phoenix, AZ phone number that "Jared Toms" called from and found numerous incidents similar to mine.
I reported the situation to all relevant authorities.
