Called and asked for a different first name but our same last name. There is no one by that name whom I know. He argued with me and said that I said the person's full name and he only asked for them by their first name. Argued back and forth about this. He told me if I would just give that person his name and phone number and tell them to return my call, he would take this phone number off his list. That's a double-edge sword and you can't win on that one! It is like trying to answer the no-win question, "when did you stop beating your wife?"
Someone from this number called my home and said he was from Wells Fargo. I called back on my cell and he asked for my social security number and home address for identification purposes. I gave him my name and nothing else, and asked him why he called me. He refused to say if I did not provide any more information about me. We argued a bit until he hung up.
THIS NUMBER HAS NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS, I GOTT A PHONE CALL FROM SOME CLAIMING TO BE CALLING FROM WELLSFARGO, WHE I ASKED FOR THE REASON FOR THE CALL THE PERSON WAS VERY EVASSIVE, HE REFUSED TO GIVE A RESON....
This guy has the balls to say he's from Wells Fargo on his PERSONAL VOICEMAIL. What a complete [***]. I called him back for giggles. People from banks don't make random call outs. Please don't fall for this PR any other predators bag of tricks. What a loser.
Just got a voicemail from this number and he made the same claim of being from Wells Fargo.
Called back, just for fun and got a voicemail that said it was "XXX from Wells Fargo"
Now I shall be calling an ACTUAL Wells Fargo person to report the issue with them as well.
