I received a call from 480-403-2144 which was an automated message stating that they could reduce my interest rate on my credit card to as low as 6% - Press 1 for details. I pressed one and a woman with an indian accent answered. I asked her what credit card they are referring to and she said my Via Card! (First Red Flag) I asked what Visa Card? She said your Chase Card Visa Card!. She asked me if my interest rate was over 10% and I said I think so but I'm not sure. She said well please call me back when you know for sure but she didn't give me a number to call her back. (RED FLAG) Out of curiosity I called the subject number and there was no answer.. I then Googled the number and got no results. So this is my experiance with this number..

The callers are the drug- addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card number to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

The card service scammers   WILL   "service" our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish "servicing" them, they will have no available credit remaining!

Most definately scammers. Calling about my credit card to lower it's interest rate .... hmmm, that's funny that they can lower it BELOW ZERO since I do not have a credit card. It's all BS, don't get fooled!!! good luck people.

I just got a call from 480-403-2144 on my cell. My caller ID said it was from Phoenix Arizona. I answered the call and no one answered on the other end. It then hung up on me. I'm assuming it was verifying my number was legitimate for the purposes of targeting me for marketing later. And/or it's trying to learn when I'm available and when I'm not to learn when the best time to call with a solicitation. Or it may be for more nefarious purposes - guess I'll have to wait and see. But I didn't shop at Target recently, so hopefully it's not connected to the recent mass credit card number hacking theft inside job they experienced during the holiday season of 2013.
