Got this call today and knew it was a scam as soon as I answered it. When they said my computer was having issues and flooding the internet with data I told them that was weird considering my computer was turned off.....a long pause and then...click....dial tone! lol
Received a call from a man that was difficult to understand, he kept going on about my computer and hackers trying to take control of it. I told him I was having a difficult time understanding him and he suggested I listen closely. When he started in about my computer, I told him I didn't even have a computer and asked what the hell he was talking about...he hung up on me. Nice try...scammer!
Yea he called my phone the other day, and told me that he was some kind of computer repairman or something, and that my computer was broken or something. I told him that its not my problem because I traded it for a weed wacker last week. .
For the umpteenth time I received call from 480-409-4623 who claims they represent Microsoft and that there is a problem my PC and Windows program. Caller was obviously in another country with a difficult accent and poor language skills. I one more time made request for them to cease and desist and delete my number from their files and call listing.
