This number called while I was at work and unable to answer my phone. After work, I tried to return the call, only to get music with a lot of static, apparently a weak connection. I had read recently about a new phone scam going around that has been traced to a group of islands around Antigua, where the phone rings once. Those who try to call back are connected to music and held on line for a long time, only to receive a big surprise ($20+) added to their phone bill later. So I immediately hung up. According to the article I read, most of the calls occur late at night to make people think it might be an emergency. My call happened during normal work hours (or a bit earlier, if you take into account time zone differences), but why take chances? If the caller does not want to speak to me in person, then why waste my time on them?
Just received a phone call from this number but I'm at work and didn't answer it. I don't understand how I'm on the do not call list and still keep getting these phone calls.
