Got a call today with an "important" recorded announcement. Makes it sound like a government program to 'block a 14% increase to your electric bill". In fact, it's a telemarketer selling solar "solutions."
When I asked what they were selling, I was told "if you're not interested in saving money on your electric bill, we can disconnect." I did ask to have my number removed. We'll see.
This call tries to make it sound like it is from your electric company. If you try to opt out of the telemarketing they try to deceive you by saying "if you are not a home owner or received this phone call in error press 3."
