hey this dude called me from this number saying he was from godaddy.com
he was rude, unprofessional, onery, not helpfull, talked too fast, was hard to understand, read my domain name wrong, would not identify himself as a godaddy employee or tell me my name or any account details other then the name of my website....
but guess what???
he really was from godaddy.com!!!!!! I guess they just have really crappy service!
so yeah one of my many websites had been hacked back in Aug 2010 to have some crappy phishing stuff added to it and they just now more then a year later discovered it and are going to shut down my website because of it, they sent me a email at 9pm last night then call at 9am this morning and start rattling off all this stuff over the phone,
I ask to talk to the supervisor and the dude says if there is one around maybe I can or else he will voicemail me.... I wait a couple minutes.... then a dude comes on "service dept." he says and I start to grill him he dosen't say much, sticks to the topics and helps me figure out the phishing problem, which ends up being REAL. So there was a real problem and they couldn't really help too much..

looks like I am not going to stay at godaddy too much longer.....
While on a late night conference call this number called me 3 times within 6 minutes. Never leaving a voice mail. If this is a business why are you calling my cell phone at 830 at night like a crazed person?

I just ordered 2 domains from Godaddy yesterday, so reading your message was very helpful because now I know the voicemail I got from this number, which had no message was from Godaddy.com. But just to note, I have always had positive experiences with Godaddy.
This is not GoDaddy. It's a scammer that has found your contact info via a website or hosting plan that you now or have had in the past. They will try to sell you some add-on services. By the way, as someone already said, if it was GoDaddy they would already have basic info regarding any of your ACTIVE accounts.
