A recorded message to get my carpets cleaned. The said to press 9 to be removed from the list. I'm on the do not call list so how did I get on this list. I reported this number to the Do Not Call Registry, however, I'm sure they won't do anything about it. Tax dollars going to waste AGAIN!
I got the same computerized message from this number advertising carpet and duct cleaning. I've found AC and Carpet Cleaning businesses to be the worst offenders in Arizona. I reported to the Do Not Call website. That's all we can do. If everyone would file a complaint, it would get on the FTC radar screen and maybe they'd enforce penalties. This is one area the masses want Government involvement and want penalties enforced, yet the Government continues to drag their feet, not wanting to upset their political donors!
I looked for some actual company but could find none. There are a lot of "green" carpet cleaning outfits, but that's their technique--environmentally friendly--not the actual name. It's probably an offshore lead broker who makes illegal robocalls with impunity since they are beyond US jurisdiction. They then sell the leads they develop to less-than-ethical carpet cleaners in the area. If they get called out on the illegal lead generation they claim ignorance, though they know perfectly well what's going on.
