Guy calls me, claiming to be a windshield repair company. Phones in the background, sounds like a telemarketing company. Is this guy a scam artist? Should I block his calls?
They are a windshield company, that told me they bought out the customer base for several smaller companies. If their technicians do as poor of a job as Carolina Windscreens did, you are better off without a windshield at all!! CW DESTROYED my 2001 Mustang GT convertible!! This guy cut the main wiring harness that feeds all of the lights to the interior, the rear view mirror, and the lights to both visor mirrors. That part was hell trying to find because it's considered "obsolete" and is no longer in production. Next, he destroyed my cowl screen (plastic cover where the windshield wipers attach to the car) and broke 2 of the metal clips that hold the plastic painted trim piece over the outside of the windshield posts!! I have more air noise now with the top UP than I do when I have it down!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!! Stick with Safelite!!! only company I will trust to work on my cars from now on!!!!
Received a call from this number. Researched this number and apparently, this is a telemarketing company for Omega Glass. I didn't answer the phone, and no message was left.
