I got one of these on 9/3 - perhaps it's an auto dialer that verifies which #s are good to save the telemarketers time. If you answer - they know it's a live number. Later - you get the bozo calling.

I got a call and the guy said his name was John Deere/Dear/Deer. he said he was with Bank Card America and had a business opportunity for me that was recession proof and guaranteed. Maybe he should call our Federal government with that offer.
i keep getting these darned calls, i used to ignor them but i got fed up picked up the phone only to get disconnected on, so i called back and i get a recording saying the number is not in service. what a gig!
that phone # also keeps showing up on my cell phone n ive tried calling it back n it always says the # has been disconnected... how can that be when ive tried it call it back everytime 30 minutes after whoever it is tried to call me??? according to google the phone # belongs to phoenix bus rental/unisoft corporation...
