I get calls from that number also, but when I call back, all I get is a busy signal. Because of the busy signal, I am guessing that it is a sales call or someone trying to get money fraudulently from me. If it was a friend or a bill collector, they would answer their phone!
They have called our home 7 times today. When I answer, it a woman asking for my husband and goes on to say she is a friend of his. He has been dead 17 years.
I don't pick up calls if I don't recognize the number -- they can leave a message. This number has been calling off and on for the past two days without leaving any type of message. Finally got tired of the no-messages-left, and picked up the phone on a call. No company name given, but they asked for my husband; I said he was at work (DUH, calling in the middle day) and asked if I could take a message. The gal said it was an informational call and hung up. The next time they can talk to my answering machine.
