Just got a call from them with the same info from Brittany with a reference number and a vague message indicating she has to speak to the owner. She asked for him by his nickname so that made me think it wasn't legitimate.
Recieved a call from this number at my place of business. Caller identified herself as Felcia and gave a ref: # of 141757243 saying the owner needed to call back immediately regarding changes to our merchant services account (Visa/MC processing) Rather than call the # back as I did not recognize I phoned my credit card procesor directly and per my conversation with them there have been no changes to my account, they did not recognize the reference number given etc.. So I assume just another sleazy sales tactic to "trick" a merchant into calling back and swithcing to their service.

Identified as Merchant services and wanted to speak to the owner. I asked what Merchant service and he said it was a banking matter. I told him I was authorized on all banking matters. He said he needed to talk to the owner only. It was regarding our business being flagged. Contacted my bank and no such thing is happening.
This company called repeatedly this morning. I recognized the number, so I didn't answer it at first. After about the 3rd call, it was suggested that I answer the call. She said that my company was a low risk and that there were changes to my merchant account. I told her that if there were changes, then I would receive notification from my merchant; not from another party. She said, "Not necessarily." I told her that I was happy with my processing company, but she kept on her spiel. I hung up the phone, and then she called back. I let the call go to voice mail, but she called again. I finally picked up the phone and said, "I am not interested," but that didn't shut her up, so I hung up the phone. No more phone calls today at least.
