Got the same call that everyone else is getting from these scammers. Kyle Davis called me. As soon as he asked for my credit card so he could charge me $998 for his services - the radar went up. No way am I giving a stranger my card number over the phone. I said - can I call you back in a little while? That's when he started to get nasty and I knew immediately. He said 'I'll check out the internet with you on the phone' and I told him why would I go to HIS website? When I told him that there was complaints against his company he said - those people are not our clients!- no kidding?? He said I couldn't call him back because customer service - 888-512-8881 - was closed. I said - you're calling me from a phone, why can't I call you back on the phone you're calling me from? He said he was calling me from a computer. I said I will call back tomorrow when customer service is open - he said - but you're still going to give me your credit card so why not just give it to me now? I said I would not, and he said - well, good luck getting out of debt! He tried to tell me that if my card was stolen, I would not be responsible for the charges, so if I gave him my number and they were not legit, then I wouldn't be responsible. I said yes, I might not be responsible, but the crooks still get the money either way. He didn't like that too much. I can't believe that no one has shut these people down yet!
My dear wife has been hassled from the same number 480-745-9673 from a individual who says he represents a firn called "Purchase Power Solutions" I have reported this to the Federal Trade Commison. We are registerd on the do not call list..... We informed the caller that we have reported them to the FTC and it will result in a $15,000.00 fine. We have had much success in stopping many callls such as this..... as a point of imterest..... we have been successful in stop creditors from calling.as well....
