Dave Harrington left a message on my voice mail, but he did not leave any details - only a request for me to return his call. I researched, and this appears to be a company soliciting graphic arts services to other businesses.
@anonymous - Selling Graphic Services across state lines... I get enough of that from India, China, Thailand, and parts of Russia. No. Blocked from now on.
A general note to those that care:
As a graphics and print/web service provider we use conventional resources of advertisement starting with word of mouth (where 90% of our business comes from), web sites, print media, and socializing (a physical presence at parties, gatherings, meet-up groups). We've found that email campaigns and cold calls do not equal out for the amount of effort required vs. sales acquired. People either need you or they don't and when they do have need, they find you; not the other way around.
The takeaway:
Don't [***] possible clients with intrusive sales techniques, they tend to remember you and not fondly.
